So I'm looking around my social media feeds and lately I've noticed quite a few births and birthday parties.

But one of the things I've also noticed is how many of my latino friends and family have given their kids these awfully "white" names.

Now to be clear, parents have the right to name their kids whatever they want, but there's just something awkward about a Dominican kid named Tyler or Puerto Rican kid named Logan.

Maybe names don't mean anything...or maybe it's your last name that matters since it's what gets passed on to the next generation.... but I just find this shyt to be weird, brehs.

You don't see too many Irish kids being named Alcides.
That's all I'm saying.

:manny:

Do you think what you name your kids matters?

How this thread is not about LAST NAMES is beyond me.

Because your real last name is Johnson, Smith, Jackson right?

Most nikkas out here spending stacks on Jordans, and not research into their origins though. How do you explain that?

People don't have a choice in what last name they are born with, you can certainly control the first name of your child.

You control all of that shyt fam :dahell:

Can't be mad at someone who is unaware.
