See, I posted the challenge below 6 pages ago and no one who claims Nas is much better at rhyming has stepped up with an example:

So, post 6 specific bars. Not an entire song, not an entire verse, not the name of some songs. Just post one sequence of 6 bars from a Nas song that showcases a rhyme pattern or a use of multi's that has never supposedly been encountered in a 2pac song. Preferably a couple of lines that actually have some meaningful content too. If you could do that, then you would be able to prove your point and I will :shake: you.
This is what the thread is all about really.

If Nas is really that much better lyrically (and with lyrical, I mean just rhyming ability in this context), it shouldn't be so difficult. All this other bickering back and forth with opinions isn't really helpful and leaves the discussion going nowhere.

I'll be waiting.

pac would NEVER be able to flow like that and keep up with G Rap on a track the way nas did it

Dog, you played yourself by not catching the Jay Z line... so already I know what type of guy you are, you cant comprehend advanced lyrics. So naS smart dumb lyrics seem great to you...

in actuality theyre VERY dumb. There is nothing in naS whole catalog like that one Jay Z line... THAT is lyricism. Let a naS stan tell it "nacho cheese, I'm Castro" is actually good lyricism. As a matter of fact, you refuse to admit how stupid the line is.

I would be hating if all I did was say, "ah, that nicca naS is garbage" and left it at that without breakin down EXACTLY why I say it... kinda like naS fans do in response to me actually showing you how fukcin stupid his shyt is... instead from the intellectually lacking naS stans we get, "come on dawg its naS"

Well, sorry, "come on dawg its naS" doesnt tell me anything, as a matter of fact it proves to me that naS fans are as dumb as you say they are. They dont know about the words naS uses and are impressed because of it.

"Jus cuz you dont understand him it dont mean that he nice
It just mean you dont understand all the bullshyt that he writes"

Kool G Rap;Nas - Fast Life - YouTube

First off get one thing absolutely clear, :flabbynsick: G Rap ate naS lunch on that.

Second off naS flow wasnt that great. Third Pac easily outdid that on

before naS 1st album

and again

And naS does it again... cant go a couple lines into the song before addin BS words at the end of lines to make it rhyme...

what is "smoke blunts, considerably"

i like the dude but on Fast Life.......

G Rap > Nas

on the first verse yes, but then Nas took G rap cadence on the rest of the song and that don't prevent him to be ill on the track as well

I listen to the two track you posted, are you fukking kidding me ? 2pac using the quicktongue style so genericly on there, I mean even Jay and Em in the early 90's where as good if not better than that, not to speak about das efx or jaz o.

And no I mean NO 2pac verse can keep up with live at the barbeque verse or halftime (and Nas was 16 and 18 respectively on theses tracks). I mean the kid just litteraly came with a an all other level style, that's like comparing early krs one to early rakim, krs one is good, but rakim was just on an other planet

2pac - Something Wicked - 2pacalypse Now (TUPAC) - YouTube

2pac Young Black Male - YouTube

I like Pac - but he sounds like an amateur on that first track. Doing a flow he hadn't mastered. Nas sounds light years ahead of him on Fast Life.

Btw - when you don't answer my questions - I take that as you conceding defeat.

Yeah, Jay and Eminem (who are both better rappers than naS) were as good at that, if not better. Fact remains naS wasnt better. I didnt even have to go past Pac's 1st album to find him flowin better. I could have EASILY went to better Pac songs, but I didnt have to. naS NEVER came with another style, he didnt create ANYTHING. Thats some BS that people made up that clearly werent listenin to hip hop at the time.

Pac and Nas are not even comparable imo

their individual strengths are in different areas.

I answered you question, there are no extra words. You simply dont understand writing... as evidenced by the fact you didnt get the Jay Z line.

naS adds words to the end of lines to make it rhyme... "I smoke blunts, considerably"

considerably makes no sense in that line, not only that people dont talk that way, he clearly added it to try and help his rhyme scheme. THAT is amateur. Pac was simply flowing.

LOL @ "my bankrolls make the police come in plain clothes..." if thats what impresses you then youre lost, thats no better than ANYTHING on any Pac joint. But I can post thousands of verses from better rappers that shyt on that.

naS is the greatest storyteller in rap history (yes that includes Ghost and Slick Rick and Biggie)... but thats all he's good at. Other than that his tracks are basura.

I think their discographies speak for themselves..
One is ruined by :flabbynsick: features and outdated production, whereas the other rapper is responsible for the greatest rap album ever made :ohlawd:

Pac's music is for fellow crack babies who are hopeless like that nikka was.If you're a depressed suicidal emotional psycho you'll love pac if you like story telling, dope lyrics creativity nas is your choice. It's that simple pac isnt in the same category as nas as a rapper

If you think he's the greatest storyteller does that mean you've got him in your top ten?
