Randy Moss is the GOAT receiver.
Yes, better than Jerry "I Wore Stickum To Catch Balls" Rice

Randy Moss is the GOAT receiver.
The only thing that is manufactured is AI's "impact" on the court.
Man I always wanted these releasedHuge influence
I had friends and family who didn't give a damn about basketball, but would watch just to see A.I and then buy his shoes and posters of him.
Back in middle school it seemed like everybody had the Questions or the Answers (his shoes) and also his jersey
This is all quite amazing, if you take into account he never had any national televised commercials or endorsements like Jordan or Grant Hill etc.
Is the exact same face I make when yall fans say he's better than Wade.
They ran into a powerhouse Lakers team, to be honest. Allen basically had to put the whole team on his back doe. (this site needs a Marshawn smiley).Man if iverson had won that 1 ring against the lakers in 2001
That would have been legendary![]()
They changed the rules to call his crossover a travel, I think.Dude was the definition of individuality. Even today you can't tell that cat how to dress/act.
Cats in the entertainment industry wanted to be like AI rather than the usual NBA players wanting to be in the entertainment circles.
Tattoos/corn rows/longer shorts. Arm sleeve.
Dude made the term "crossover" a household term. Remember, us sports fans know what a crossover is, cats who don't watch sports never even heard of the term before AI. Believe it or not there are people, even famous people that don't know what a crossover is today. But the fact that they know it's a word is because of AI.
Because of the above, I have to think AI was the most influential cat that ever made it into the NBA. Jordan being the only other player on the same level.
I made a similar post in the Iverson documentary thread as well.
They changed the rules to call his crossover a travel, I think.
AI's influence can NEVER be overstated - his play on the court can however. This is where a lot of dudes get it fukked up.
