He dropped out of NYU but, still stumbled onto jobs in Silicon Valley. Commonplace in tech but, I feel like they would be

Odeo was an umbrella company for multiple startups kinda like Urlich's incubator in the tv show Silicon Valley. Evan Williams had connects with Google having worked there before. He hired Jack Dorsey to work for Odeo. Jack pitched the idea for Twitter. The three of them started Twitter and ditched all the other projects. I aint saying he had it easy but, generally black college dropouts don't wind up CEOs in Silicon Valley
