What about Robert F Smith?

Black multi-billionaire in tech whose parents were teachers.

Who cares where other people started though? Why can’t you become the exception like Smith?

Robert F. Smith (investor) - Wikipedia

That's not the point he is making. Whites love to play the self made millionaire card and use that shyt to fool people into thinking the only reason the common man isn't rich is because they didn't work hard enough. Almost all of these whites had either access to large sums of money, connections, or usually both. Like another poster said you don't just stumble into a party where people are willing to hand you half a million dollars.

These cacs be lying man....they almost all had connections and privilege

Jeff Bezos got $300,000 from his parents
Zuckerberg got $50,000 from his parents
Elon Musk got $100,000 from his parents
Evan Spiegel got $100,000 from his parents
Warren Buffett was the son of a US Senator
Ken Griffith got $4 million to invest in college
The owner of Toms mother sold millions of books
The author of the 4 hour workweek grew up in the Hamptons :heh:

If they ain’t black and from the ghetto or an immigrant that came here with $5, I ain’t trying to hear it. Most of these cacs be leaving out crucial details.

Exactly...this is why I always stressed black people old, middle age and even young to have life insurance policies in placed for their children so they can have a starting point in life

Compass has an African-American from a single mother CEO and just got a 450 million dollar investment.

When we sit back and complain about how “whites” have it so easy we’re just making ourselves feel better about our own shortcomings.

You will never be able to make it like the way Chipotle guy did (1 million from parents:mjlol:)

but you can forge your own way. You can use your career to make connections that lead to investments.

The “point” OP was trying to make has nothing to do with whiteness.

Although i agree, with the fact that whites tend to overrate their examples of "starting from the bottom"...

I think the main problem here is the exposure and consumption culture developed by black people.

Nowadays, kids from other races, tend to be exposed to the creation of technology, at early stages of life. Attention, to the CREATION...

When it comes to black kids(and of course, not all), they tend to be more exposed to the consumption of technology, at early stages of life. CONSUMPTION...

If it was just about the money loan they got, then the kids, nephews or little brothers of Aliko Dangote, Mike Adenuga, Michael Jordan, Robert Johnson, Robert Smith, Master P, P. Diddy and etc, would be doing the same, on a regular basis.

And it is sad, but i don't think we have any major and worldwide web or app platform, that was created by blacks. We are just patronizing everything...Instagram, Amazon, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, Youtube, POF, Tinder and etc.

Of course, this is a problem that can be changed. We just need to expose our kids to concrete knowledge. Grown people love fukkery every once in a while, that's fine. But kids should not be exposed to that, AT ALL...
