Also most of the destruction in America is taking place in liberal areas. That's why he keeps emphasizing NY, Cali, Washington as if others aren't suffering too. He's sending signals to his disgusting base that it's liberals that are dying and i'm sure they're loving it.

I know that's circular logic since if Trump would have acted faster ppl would have taken it seriously faster
But it's hard to go in on trump when you or your family/friends were saying "more ppl die from the flu every year" a week ago
They probably view Trump as quickly moving to address the situation, plus the stimulus won't hurt. Black ppl in my family already are joking saying they're going to vote for Trump if he cuts a check

He has lied every day and has had multiple blowups. I guarantee you the polls will look worse going forward. As I said, the initial response to a disaster is to rally around the president. 911, Katrina, etc. Then people start judging the response. As with Katrina, people are gonna look at this and be disgusted.

I'm just basing it on history. The US' current trajectory for this virus is worse than China and Italy. Things are going to continue getting bad. Trump wants to reopen things, and if republican governors go through with it the numbers are going to be even worse. Given that democrats control CA and NY, and both states are probably doing the best right now in terms of response...and both states run the US economy...it's safe to say the economy is going to be fukked for awhile. Bad economy, recession, people dying, hospitals overrun, and a president who is incapable of addressing any of it...he's fukked. We're just at the tip of the iceberg man.
