Forza 4 probably reused assets from the previous games too
Im sure it did because 1. Same platform 2. Forza 3 had new cars built for it only a year so earlier it made sense. GT went all the back to the PS2 era just boost car numbers.
It's not reflected in the scores. Plenty of games have good gameplay it's everything else that reviewers are assigning scores to and that "everything else" changes from game to game which is my problemreviewers mention where 2K fk'd up too, and EVERYBODY talks about the shytty 2kSport Servers. the highlight of 2k14 is gameplay
Forza 4 had less NEW content than 5.
If games should loose points for having less content than a predecessor, then games should damn sure not be receiving praise for repackaging content from a predecessor.
lets ASSUME they did, that still means Forza 5 was released as an incomplete game just like GTA 5.
2k14 has an 87 aggregate, only 4 pts higher than forza. Most of the gripes came from its lack of content that was included in previous editions. Like 2k14, Forza was also praised/criticised for the same thing.

whats not to follow, if you're going to knock one for missing content you have to be consistent across the board.
what content is Forza 5 "missing"?
cars, tracks, & dynamic weather. I do applaud them for adding 2 of the 3 at a later date because, unlike 2k, they PROBABLY anticipated this reaction and plan on "fixing" it.
edit: oh and my apologies, forza is an 81.
dynamic weather is just something you want in the game
the game comes with cars and tracks. there's just this assumption that a sequel should include everything from the previous games. but that assumption seems to based off previous games that literally reused the same stuff, while adding a few new things. making all the assets again from scratch seems like a very different situation
2k14 has plenty of persisting technical issues.
the only persisting technical issue, i've seen, is the servers; they've been an issue for 4 years now.
A big reason people buy the game is for online play. Don't you think fukked up servers should be reflected in the score of the game? Especially when other games don't have those problems.
