Well honestly this is my first time being so involved in reading different sites/forums/metacritic.
I used to just check ign for reviews and eurogamer for technical stuff but that's it.
How is a broken game being rated as one of the best next gen titles?

Well honestly this is my first time being so involved in reading different sites/forums/metacritic.
I used to just check ign for reviews and eurogamer for technical stuff but that's it.
Talking about "broken games" but not actually stating how they're "broken" and how it's detrimental to the game/experience.
it is often used in a very hyperbolic way. IMO a "broken game" has a serious issue that keeps you from even playing. but a lot of people will use it to describe any issue within the game
There is nothing hyperbolic about saying BF4 is broken, if people can't even get through a full match without the game freezing or booting them out.

I stopped really going off of reviews a long time ago. I used to be big on Gamespot's reviews back in the day, when I posted on there. I'm talking about like 14 years
I used to be on System Wars heavy and whenever they reviewed a game that place would go ape shyt
Now I'm older, I realize there's really no way these publications can give a thorough review on some games in the time that they get them out. They probably beat a lot of these games on easy mode 1 time and go off that. But for Sports games especially, you're better off waiting for the users/diehard fans take on the game. Yes some will stan blindly, but the logical stans will shyt on the game and point out the flaws... and still play it anyway
Reviewers are usually casual gamers to a lot of these franchises/series
They basically don't know shyt about a lot of games.
it's just a pet peeve I have with that term in general. I've been involved in alpha/betas where "OMG this game iz broken!!!!" is the best feedback some tested can come up with

Corrupting game saves = broken....although I think this issue has been fixed already but it was like that for weeks.
The online freezing/lag is annoying as fukk but that doesn't make it broken.

Like I said in the other thread...as far as quick matches go...I haven't had problems in a long time. Outside of that single.player error that stopped you from playing multi around the time it first released...I've been playing everyday since that was fixed andaybe had 2 dropped games total out of around 25 hours of online play time.
Server browser is still messed up on all platforms but I dont use it.
Check my stats breh...not to mention I have a lot of recorded gameplay footage...full matches. Does the thread started even have this game?
By the way...thats on ps4...can't speak for xbox one but from what I read in here it seems to be a major xbox one version problem more so than ps4 (dropped games).

By the way.....I own both systems and from what I've seen and played my damn self ..battlefield is clearly the best next gen game to own IMO.
With that being said...I'm not a driving game head..I'm sure forza is great if you are into that. Knack/ryse/dead rising/killer instinct are not games I'm interested in so I dont care about number of exclusives at launch...I care about dope games at launch..exclusive or not. Y'all spend too much time arguing about anothet persons "score" before even playing it yourself. Skipping to the score instead of reading the actual review and applying what's said to YOUR taste and playing them yourselves.
