Beyonce is an amazing performer and has a great voice but her issue to me is she has too many people producing and writing on one project. When you look at Janet, Mary And even Mike they tended to have one producer on their album thus everything flowed perfectly.

yeah I mean you could say that about a lot of hip hop music post 2000 I would say...often the diff between a good -great cohesive project and an album that sounds disjointed even if its good in parts


Once in a while you get an album like The Game's documentary that had 10 producers or more but was fire and cohesive all the way thru but usually that many producers or in this case writters also and you get a disjointed project

True, to be honest FROM WHAT I CAN SEE, Beyonce seems likenshe doesnt give too much push back, like she trusts what the people behind her do a tad "too much". When you gave those situations its almost like people are making her hits and she justs performs that while other artist you can tell it was a collabo creatively.

yea, Ciaras vocals are a tad TOO weak though.

And Janet pretty much dropped a great album in every era pre 2000s amongst fierce competition and held her own.

Beyonce honestly has been on top of the eras she participated in for the sole reason she has no comp. She is good but pretty much has been untested.
