because both 1 and 2 in the bolded clearly state "without regard for others" and "in disregard for others"
Again:

Concerned excessively or exclusively with oneself : seeking or concentrating on one's own advantage, pleasure, or well-being without regard for others

Arising from concern with one's own welfare or advantage in disregard of others

Do I need to find the definition of the word "or" for you and a description of it's operational function? I'll do that for you. No worries. See here:

or conjunction \ər, ˈȯr, Southern also ˈär\

Definition of OR

1
used as a function word to indicate an alternative <coffee or tea> <sink or swim>, the equivalent or substitutive character of two words or phrases <lessen or abate>, or approximation or uncertainty.

Honestly, the only way your interpretation is right is if when I say I want coffee or tea, I actually want both items, its not a conflicted decision between 2 separate items.

"seeking or concentrating on one's own advantage, pleasure, or well-being without regard for others"

Break it down to show all the things that 'or' covers:

-seeking one's own advantage without regard for others
-seeking one's own pleasure without regard for others
-seeking one's own well-being without regard for others
-concentrating on one's own advantage without regard for others
-concentrating on one's own pleasure without regard for others
-concentrating on one's own well-being without regard for others

"Arising from concern with one's own welfare or advantage in disregard of others"

Again.....break it down:

-Arising from concern with one's own welfare in disregard of others
-Arising from concern with one's own advantage in disregard of others

For each one......"without regard for others" and "in disregard of others" still applies......so how the fukk does 'or' make any alternative to that part of the definition :wtf:

having kids and expecting someone else to take care of them is the most immune selfish thing on earth.

I see parents who cannot take care of their kids everyday.
You are an evil and disgusting individual to procreate and create hardship for another innocent person.

Where do you see parents that can't take care of their kids?
