I can understand and certainly echo the sentiment behind not sympathizing with the situation he's found himself in, but he'll be nearing 37 at the end of the season. I mean, realistically, you have to alter your expectations of him. How many other wings in history have been this good for this long?

It's like y'all think he's just going to be at the top of his game, competing for rings, until he stops playing.

Are we forgetting how great he was at the last Olympics -

Mans capped off one of the greatest international careers with a fourth Gold medal (all of which he was the star of), and now we really denigrating him with monikers of "HOF journey man" and "Melo with 2 fraudulent rings".

KD's individual stats are still good but the team is awful and worse than that, the team looks like they just don't give a fukk out there half the time

I know Sarver was an awful owner, but Ishbia's been worse. The team is out of the play-in, capped out, has no control over it's own pick for the next 7 years and they're gonna lose KD in the offseason.

New owner syndrome in the worst way, the Beal thing should've been bulletin board material as "Do not trade for". You just don't under any circumstances do that for a guy like that with a NTC.

Melo didn't have any future MVPs on his team when making playoff appearances. If AI was in his prime on the nuggets and they still didn't go anywhere that would be a fair argument.

KD won his MVP when Westbrook played less than 50 games that wasn't like a super team.

Prime KD also gave you better defense than Melo could because of his height and wingspan.

I like Melo but KD was a better player.
