Tatum and Dunn would be the only ones that play defense on that team. Tatum not even a top 3 defender on his own team he not changin shyt for the Suns overall defense. They'd still be one of the worst defenses in the NBA and offense ain't a problem wit KD they 7th ranked offense this season.

The Suns have a 125 defensive rating without KD this season.

A tankin Utah Jazz the worst defense in the league is at 119.6.... So they been MUCH worse than the WORST defense when KD been out. None of the guards in Phoenix play any defense, they small, unathletic, dumb and lazy. They got worst center rotation in NBA that give up HOF numbers to average centers nightly and can't rebound. Tatum ain't changin shyt. They'd be prayin for a play-in spot all the same.

Melo was a one man wrecking crew his entire prime. Doubled teamed every night, KD has played with Prime Harden, Prime Kyrie, Prime Steph, Prime Klay, Prime Booker, Prime Westbrook(All Hall of Famers except for maybe Booker) Making it easier for him not to get 2 guys every time he touches the ball. Melo didn't have that luxury in his prime.
