nowadays, prodidy is :flabbynsick:, and alc is predictable and uninspiring. i can tell it takes alc minutes to come up with cookie cutter beats. compare prodigy NOW to the dude who was on infamous and hell on earth. night and day. nikkas are supposed to progress. look at nas. he's only gotten better. prodigy has regressed to a stoned out shell of his former self.

nas has progressed? So you are saying the Nas of 2013 is better than the Nas of Live At the BBQ? Illmatic? :what:

And if you think Alc is boring, you haven't heard him on Currensy's Covert Coupe

at curing insomnia maybe :heh:

The crazy shyt is that on it's face I can see why someone might say M1CS was better. i think the production is better. Boldy has some clever lines. That being said I haven't bumped it in a long time. There was some "it" factor that was missing from it. Even though i think the beats are better on M1CS than Albert Einstein, I'd still bump Albert Einstein over M1CS.

Albet Einstein went hard. Prodigy has charisma. Boldy had the same fukking monotone thing throughout the whole project, and the beats weren't as good. shyt just seemed lazy to me, especially since he used that one recycled sample from here.

Consideration was a great fukking song though

I got no problem with re-flipping samples though. Alchemist does that shyt all the time. Especially when Traction is way doper than Big Body Benz. Re-flipping samples isn't lazy at all IMO. if anything, I think it takes more effort to go out of your way to try and be creative to make a different sound from the same materials. Consideration is definitely a banger too. I agree with you there.

No lie, I've been bumping Albert Einstein since early summer, after one play through I immediately played it over and over and over again while on vacation in Ecuador :banderas:

I remember coming back to the states and telling myself "Watch the coli not even mention AE as a contender for album of the year..." Happy to see some of ya agree as the year comes to a close. Production wise ALC chemically enhanced our brains, Houdini P didn't even need to rappity rap, his delivery and voice meshed with the instrumentation incredibly. Dudes is sleeping, real talk.

Some songs don't necessarily knock evenly, but tracks like "Give em hell", "Stay Dope", "Bible Paper", "Breeze", and "Raw Forever" are straight up gems!
