How is Pusha T able to do what Meek Mill couldn't do?

Meek still a street dude. Pusha well established and well connected. he's also just a better rapper than Meek.

Meek and Drake also from the same generation and as popular as Meek is, Drake was way more popular at the time. Drake stans were more worried about memes than the statements Meek made (Drake didn't write his own raps, let a man piss on him etc.).

Pusha benefits from the generation gap. a lot of people who fukk with Pusha don't really fukk with Drake as it is. so they're clowning Drake and got the Drake fans juelzing, whereas i think there was more overlap on the Meek/Drake fanbase and Drake just had more people choosing his side because he played it better than Meek.

Meek approached Drake as if he was his peer. Meek and Drake are not on the same level. In order for meek to win a battle against a more popular person, he would have had to get dirty from the start the way Pusha did. Push went into the Battle with nothing to lose. You can't battle a more popular person in a room full of people who adore them and think that you're not going to have to get dirty as hell in order to beat them. You literally have to embarrass them, stomp them out, strip them naked, and maybe more...

Meek approached it as if he was a big Nikka attempting to spank Drake. Nah, son.
