How is Ready To Die better than Reasonable Doubt? Why is Big supposedly better overall?

Victory was put together as like post humous work.
So it is more bells and whistle in the creation of that work.
So, trying to use it as an authentication point for big or jay won't really work well.
Big was a better emcee because he created a real authenticated non-biter based style from his own uppage in skills.
Big did not styles morph off his contemporaries and in the time period.
Big was not exactly social like jay had been in the history of rap to piggy back off of flows.
Plus, came across as more culturally mindful even with badboy connectivity.
While jay never actualized or ramped up his skill set on his own without style morphing off his contemporaries.
Plus has always been culturally disengenuine and any show of cultural solidarity was a phoney pr based work of subterfuge.

The process to get that record going was not just a standard x's and o's style of recording.
Which is why I used the verbiage I used.

ready 2 die is so over rated most the tracks are skip status biggie is shouting on there even Jay-Z said he prefers LAD because its more polished. Thank God for badboy songs like juicy and one more chance remix (original was weak) :wow:

im not amazed by RD either Jay is not a top tier MC to me but he has the skills just no heart or authenticity he says a lot of dumb feminine shyt but i do think Big might just be slightly better even though Jay got him on (brooklyns finest and i love the dough) :ohhh: neither in my top 10.

It's basically preference between the two albums but biggie def had that charisma goin. It felt effortless and smooth along with seemingly relatable storytelling. Made you understand his pov without him trying to make you understand his pov.

On their tracks together I thought big was better (brooklyns finest, young gs)

I give the nod to the one who can make a Shaquille oneal song pop off lol

Ready To Die is an official, 1st ballot classic.....Reasonable Doubt is dope but a revisionist classic.
"revisionist" There's plenty of classic pieces of work that weren't called that until after the fact, this is one of the weakest arguments people use.
