How is Ready To Die better than Reasonable Doubt? Why is Big supposedly better overall?

RTD or RD

Camel Stans trying to rewrite histiory I see
What the fukk is "rewriting" history about talking about the quality of two albums :what:
Jay-Z haters straying from the topic
Im gonna say RD is a better album lyrically, but thats about it. Ready To Die knocks more, feels more natural and captured a theme better.
Hell no it didn't capture a theme better, in fact the themes on RD are displayed much more blatantly and with less filler.
"Its ill when, MC's used to be on cruddy shyt
Took home, Ready to Die, listened, studied shyt
Now they on some money shyt, successful out the blue..."

Big was so effortless with lyricism, he could fit words and ideas that you wouldnt see coming. His wit was pretty sophisticated for someone who didnt have a college education. Theres a reason why someone would use his lines, word for word...repeatedly. Its just he composed things that other rapppers wish they had composed first.

Anyway in terms of albums, both are great. RTD is a blueprint for many other albums after it

The sound of hiphop changed a lot between the time ready to die dropped and reasonable doubt came out. I know it's a 2 year gap but there's a huge difference in the sound of both albums. I couldn't say one was better than the other.

Reasonable Doubt is the better album. Ready to Die had more impact. It brought NY back.
With that said, in 2016, I'd much rather listen to Reasonable Doubt.
I'm not even a Jay fan like that BTW.

Hard one man, listen two both all the time. But gotta go with RD cause it has three of my favourite songs on it. But RTD is def close behind. I'm not gonna sit here and break down every song because I havent got the time and to be honest can't really be f$&kt.

RTD all day. RTD just has a much greater replay value.
RD was probably better lyrically but it's just kind of a dreary boring album from a charisma standpoint in comparison to RTD.
I can listen to and enjoy RD but with RTD I wan to ride out and bump numerous songs from it and perform it,word for word as i mob down the street.
RD doesnt make me feel that way

That's how I feel about RD.
I can't play RTD straight through.

More people feel like me.
We talk about RTD because of it's impact and performance.
We talk about RD because of what hov did afterwards and because he CALLED IT A CLASSIC. If hov dies after his second album,we dont discuss RD at all. In fact we dont discuss jay-z at all
