basically he the same character as he was in "Drive" except he gets his ass kicked
every movies he makes sucks
and he does ZERO acting
Only God Forgives was absolute trash, worst movie I've seen in a while and I've seen that piece of shyt After Earth.
What you have to realize breh is that he doesn't direct films he acts in them so you can't blame him for the direction of the movie. After the success of Drive I can understand him for following the director, too bad the director got full of himself and made this trash.
The reason he is allowed to still make movies is because he had a streak of either popular or abosule piff films. The Notebook, Half Nelson, Fracture
Lars and the Real Girl, Blue Valentine, Crazy Stupid Love, Ides of March 
Drive 
His last three movies have been basura but only one (Gangster Squad) was a big budget film.

Dude is a solid actor, Only God Forgives was poorly directed and that affects the acting. Out of all of his generation, Jake Gylenhaal (spelling) is the most talented but Gosling is very solid.
