they could legitimately lose the rest of their regular season games. if so, will the committee have the balls to still put them in the tourney? they would be 16-14 but only 6-12 in conference.

They still comparing him to Curry or what? :skip:
His shot selection is curry esque but his creating separation game isn’t nearly as comparable and they don’t run any where near as creative screen sets (as if any college team is gonna mimick GSW’s screen sets)

If Steph works with dude this offseason, he’ll at least be last year Davidson Curry level first year in the L. Which would probably make him quite a raw prospect, but at least one with a definable skill set outside of just being able to pull up and shoot. He can see passing lanes moderately, but if he’s in passing mode, he becomes too hungry to make elite passes. And his slashing game ain’t there to create em going to the rim. I’d say he’s closer to a Buddy than Steph currently

My biggest fear about young is him not being athletic at all.

That’s one thing him and curry have in common

He should probably work with curry cause it’s gonna take that for Young to live up to these top 5 nba draft expectations everyone given him over the past month

He’s been good for a freshman who’s been the entire offense

The issue is that he is the system intentionally, like he hasn’t learned how to be an off ball threat. so if he’s gonna be the entire offense by his own decision, he’s gonna have to be able to create his offense either via athleticism or handles, and you already mentioned he doesn’t have one of those things. Steph would be a good trainer, or a Kyrie, or even an IT.

Why would Curry work with him? There’s no way I’m gonna groom my possible replacement in the league. Let him figure it out...just like Curry had to

This is hilarious when Curry was literally being groomed by NBA players since he started walking. :dead:

nba players will shut trae young down for sure. this shyt will fly in college but not the nba. i can see him being a bench player but not a starter

i know his teamates at OU are getting tired of his shot attempts

I was saying this shyt back when he was at his height. I just don't see how he is athletic enough to get separation in the NBA. It scares me how bad he is at finishing sometimes.

(I actually think Curry is way more athletic than Young is, quicker and with better hops too.)

People were big-upping this layup, I was thinking, "He's got a step on a smaller player and THAT was the best finish he could manage?" :usure:
