Tre’a game is disjointed as fukk and all over the place.. Curry was way more polished offensively

That's still 2 more years than Trae Young. And he still had to change his shot before his final year if he wanted to succeed in the NBA.

Steph changed his shot in high school to be more succesfull at the next level, not college

The Steph comp is legit stylistically. His combination of range, accuracy, and confidence off the catch and the dribble is the closest thing I've seen from a prospect to Curry, and what people have to remember is that this is pro-Curry we're comparing to. College Steph wasn't pulling up like he does now. He has that elite handle too that really helps make Steph and Trae special and unguardable.

He cites Nash as one of his favorite players too and that part of his game is obvious with the floater and insane passing right now, he's a much better passer than Steph ever was in college and it's not close in that regard.

Young is averaging more assists than any D1 player in the entire 2000s

I agree that Trae needs another year of polish, but to say he wouldn't make the league alone is preposterous. His basketball IQ will be worth his weight in gold. If he cleans up his game, I can see him as a ruthless scoring John Stockton or Jeff Hornacek.....

Probably will check him out when they play Kansas.
