I've been doing the job for over 9 years (with this company 5 yrs in Dec) and its just boring. I feel like a robot. I know all jobs are exciting but I just feel like I need to take the red pill and create a new experience for myself. I currently trying to get into another type of administrative type role but I have no solid experience so its hard. I really want to be a food critic/restaurant reviewer and I was thinking of starting a blog online about the things I cook and the different foods I've tried.
Most jobs are that, just jobs and theres nothing to enjoy til you got a career. I think you should definately go for the blog idea though, i mean if you got a job thats cake like that you can definately be creative outside of the job. Sometimes, we need boring things in our life to bring excitement through other alternatives.
Like i been at my job for 6 years next month and its the same thing. Boring, robot routine. I find myself bored 99% of the time here cause its simple. I recently got into writing and the boringness here allows me to be creative and think all the time about it and its working out to benefit me. Regardless, definately go into the blogging. Its better to live your life doing something you enjoy then hate.
