I gotta see Zion do more than be big and dunk though. Lebron was threading sick passes, making a lot of threes, beating national powerhouses...what has Zion done so far?

The game that told me Lebron was the surest thing ever was the one against national #1 Oak Hill Academy. Taking his group of hometown friends he grew up with against a freaking national juggernaut that had D1 prospects coming off the bench, and he single-handedly destroyed them. 31-13-6 in a 65-45 blowout win.

The Westchester game was sick too...another juggernaut that pulls recruits from all over, #7 in the nation. and Lebron hangs 52 on their ass, 21-34 from the field and 6-9 from three. St. Mary's wins 78-52....so Lebron was out there pacing Westchester's entire team himself.

James Is Too Much for Westchester

I remember one guy saying, "People are exaggerating his passing skills - he isn't doing anything that any college forward can't do."

Then ends up playing point in the NBA like he belongs there as a freaking 18-year-old and becoming one of the greatest passers in NBA history. :mjlol:
LeBron % are public access, his shooting range was inconsistent, he use to ball watch way too much, stop comparing Zion's prep school team to a team that almost everyone went D1 in the starting five. Ya'll know LeBron games from HS are on youtube and while he is a better prep than Zion, Zion still has a Sr year and much better HS class he's in than James.

other than the fact that zion makes teenagers his age look like children physically, i dont see how the comparison to lebron fits.

the only skill lebron couldn't consistently dial up back then was his J. every other part of his game was literally NBA ready in high school.

zion's game is gonna need a lot of work if he's going to play on the perimeter at the next level. right now he's more like this generation's charles barkley/larry johnson: short for a frontcourt player, but his height is negated by elite, freakish athleticism and enough skill to get in the paint and do whatever he wants.

Zion used to be a PG lol. You're underselling the kid's gifts.

Uh, yeah, you can pick apart his high school game as easily as you can pick at his early-career came. Here are those stats you were referring to though, and they look pretty damn good all around.

As far as Lebron's teammates though, you're exaggerating by omission a bit. He had two teammates play for the Akron Zips and a third who played for a place I've never heard of called "Walsh Univerisity".

I can't remember all the dudes he has coached recently. The guard at 'Cuse right now who was a big time recruit. Diallo who went to Kansas and is now in the league. Mo Bamba. Aiken the star freshman at Harvard. A lot of others.

I'm crazy late but I know exactly what you're talking about, or have an idea. To protect your man, his nickname have 5 letters? You're not lying, one of my favorite AAU coaches, homie always battling "AAU parents/handlers" because he constantly landing elite kids in the tri-state. Almost moved on from the game because of it, which would have been a travesty.

He almost landed Hami too, but he chose RENS instead.

Yeah, T aka M. But he's not who I'm talking about. He co-runs the joint with my homeboy. I went to college with both of them, but I'm closer with the other dude. Both are good peoples.
