My man is on some other shyt. He was profiled by the NY Times and all that. He and his team all played ball, all grew up in the hood, but also went to good colleges. So they built a program that focuses on prepping their players for college via test tutoring and mentoring while also coaching them at a high level. They don't take or promise money, they are genuinely invested in these kids. So they'll have a couple 5 star players, but also a lot of good ones they get into prep schools and liberal arts colleges where they don't have to take on debt to get a life-changing education. So the parents trust these dudes and are scrambling to get their kids on the team. But in a scummy business like youth basketball, this has also caused a lot of jealousy. I could go into detail but out of respect to my g I'm not going to put it out there like that. But he and his people are fighting a real uphill battle while trying to do the right thing. He has coached some big time talents already. Has cats all over the major NCAA program rosters and a handful in the league right now.
I will say his stories about recruiting trips and prominent college coaches are laugh out loud funny when they aren't straight

status.
