And your response was to shurg all responsibility.
how am I shrugging all responsibility when you won’t even tell me the specifics

Your first post in this thread was you can't blame gen x for anything because your numbers are low.

. I gotta stop. Not trying to hurt in Gen-X brehs feelings in here. Just really thinking about this a realizing that they were supposed to be a transitional generation to a new and better mindset, only for them to promote and tattoo the negativity in our community as our general identity
. Plays out to this VERY day
If your parents were born In the 70’s they are Gen X.I’m strictly speaking on Black Boomers. My parents are barely ahead of where there parents were at the age they’re at now. My folks are MS Delta born and raised. It took a lot for my mom to move tf up outta there 20 yrs ago. My pops decided he didn’t want that life early on and left. He did everything that a lot of his gen believed would get them ahead of the game only for it to not work out like that. And a lot of it wasn’t their fault so no, Boomers, specifically Black ones didn’t have a great economy to get money when the little they were getting, they were sending it back home to take care of the folks who didn’t have any chances. If it ain’t generational shyt, it’s gender, or classism. Don’t y’all ever get tired of these petty ass arguments?
Edit: my peoples are late stage Boomers. What is this great economy they were born in? The 70s? Reaganomics?
My folks are children of the civil rights era (pre CRA64 or VRA65). They’re BoomersIf your parents were born In the 70’s they are Gen X.
There’s no debate - no boomers were born in the 70’s.
I must be of a different class for real - no hate but most of the black boomers I know are doing ok.My folks are children of the civil rights era (pre CRA64 or VRA65). They’re Boomers

Boomers are 1946-1964. But location depends on a lot. My peoples were the ones who decided to tough it out and not go up North. It took my old man joining the military for him to leave the south.I must be of a different class for real - no hate but most of the black boomers I know are doing ok.

Im Gen X ,,, and yes Gen X and the late generation of boomers was the beginning of the end for black folks and millennials and the rest has put us in a coma
Look how the family structure and kids out of wedlock numbers skyrocketed
Stop making sense.if anything gen X black folks got comfortable with your white collar jobs because it paid more money but stopped pushing for real change and putting our necks on these cacs in the late 80s and 90s. Now we got brehs were they only hope is Amazon or a call center manager if your lucky so I don't see why they would be immune form the smoke.
