How Long Can You Play When a Game Has You Immersed?

Specifically single player campaign games. For some reason, I can only go 2-3 hours and then my brain starts to get irritated and tells me to chill.

I've had my moments with online multiplayer where I could go all night 'til next noon, or playing sports games and fukking around with rosters for hours making sure every player is rated accurately to my opinion (jrue holiday rated a 89? ).

i think brothers: a tale of two sons was the only single player game ive ever finished all the way through (cuz it was short).

When I was a kid, the longest I went was about 9-10 hours. Wait, you said single-player only (that was a Mortal Kombat II session with my cousin). For single player only, I think the longest I went was about 7 hours. I really can't remember tbh. I think since being an adult and parent/hubsand/etc. the longest I may have went for a SP was about 3-4 hours and about 4-5 for MP if you talking strictly one continuous play session (this is mainly exclude to days off and also the fam being away or asleep). Before having a family and going back to school, I'd game about 4-5 hours continuous several times a week though. Mostly online fighters, but also I'd push that whenever a deep SP game came out that I liked, like most RPGs or action-adventure titles like Uncharted, DMC, NG, etc.

I finished Fallout 3 in 2 days...maybe 35+ hours or so.

I was addicted...I didn't care about anything else that weekend. My phone was on silent, I didn't check my emails, I barely ate food, I almost thought about pissing and shytting my pants instead of wasting time walking to the bathroom.

I am sure @Orbital-Fetus can relate.

I can do about 12 hours a day, the time just goes buy so I dont even notice. But thats mainly reserved for certain games, im not a freak

Its used to be all day. I remember before hurricane Katrina I had just bought a new pc and world of warcraft. For two weeks I didn't have to work so I spent from the time my alarm went off at 530am until about 1am the next day just playing wow. Now I can only put in 2 or 3 hours before I cut a game off.
