GTA online had me on for hours...one work night I was getting ready to go to bed for 9...said I’d play GTA from 8-9 then go to sleep...met some friends from my crew and we just jumped from lobby to lobby running players out...went against a crew who thought they was tough shyt and spent hours wiping the map with them...by the time we were done it was 2AM and I had to be up by 6 the next morning smh

another time my whole AC unit needed to be replaced...6 hour job they said...which is a long fukking time for ppl to be in your house...my main thing was how was I gonna pass the time while they’re there...easy—play GTA online...got into it and damn net forget they were there...one dude stopped his work at times to watch me play lmao

I think the longest I played it straight was about 10-12 hours with me stopping only to get beer and piss while neglecting to eat smh

Specifically single player campaign games.

just realized my examples were for MP...for SP recently ghost of tsushima had me playing 6-10 hours straight on a daily basis...granted my sleep hours were fukked up so I didn’t start playing til like midnight or 1AM (I was waking up anywhere between 3-7 in the afternoon/evening) and I’d play til I was tired enough to fall sleep

I complete the game... no matter the cost... if a game that's amazing cant hold your attention the problem is you...

Edit: in general a new release can hold me down for like 10 hours...I take breaks when I'm feeling tired or hungry.

Only on like the first few days of a big game or new console do I play a LOT. Even then if I don't at least ready/study, clean up or do something else I'll start to feel like a bum

It depends buddy, shooters after 2 hrs am burned out...rpgs if its a top tier rpg and on a weekend maybe 5 hours straight.

It all depends on what am doing during the day, energy levels and how GOOD the game is to be honest

Specifically single player campaign games. For some reason, I can only go 2-3 hours and then my brain starts to get irritated and tells me to chill.

I've had my moments with online multiplayer where I could go all night 'til next noon, or playing sports games and fukking around with rosters for hours making sure every player is rated accurately to my opinion (jrue holiday rated a 89? ).

i think brothers: a tale of two sons was the only single player game ive ever finished all the way through (cuz it was short).

I played Fallout 4 and RDR2 each for 9 hours without even noticing. Had to put it down for a couple weeks after that.
