We still don't have enough information I think.

We have to get more into from Sweden (lax controls), China (removing controls) and USA / UK / Italy / Spain (effect of controls) to be able to make a more informed guess. We also need open topics re. the virus answered (re-infection, long term organ damage, strains etc).

Right now given what we know I don't see a return to normal life until we find an effective vaccine. We might have something similar to normal-ish life with additional precautions (social distancing, restrictions on high risk groups, more working from home, regular / antibody tests, useful antibody / immune register, PPE) by around July at the earliest IMO. But the curve will have to have been significantly flattened by then - with far fewer cases.

The only way I could see a return to more-or-less normality happening earlier is either by,

1. the weather wiping the virus out - unlikely
2. finding some hitherto unseen hand-of-god factor like a miracle drug, miracle protective device or system
3. inventing a super screening test along with the curve having been flattened
4. discovering that this is not as dangerous as it seems to be.
5. we reach herd-immunity - unlikely

IMO.

Subject to review.

Breh, the feds already pumped over 2T $ in the market plus they are buying bonds. That's why Trump wants things opened back up
All I’m saying is:

Ppl not leaving the house for 6 months will have IMMENSE mental health consequences (the Social part):whoa:
Domestic violence, Child Abuse, depression, and divorce are gonna skyrocket.

All this shyt is “cute” now with the IG and TiK TOK post, but wait until 2 to 3 months in .

And the economic part Damn near goes without saying.

Gonna be another Great Depression

It depends on what you mean by corona?
The actual virus, it'll be here until a proper vaccine or treatment is made.
The restrictions?
April is going to be crazy, but we're going to hit our curve by the second week or so. dikkhead finally called a DPA, so damn near everyone is making masks, vents, beds, which is honestly the most important part. I see mid May - June being where they start lifting restrictions, as testing becomes quicker and accurate. Remember, the point of the lockdown is to slow the spread. They still expect most people to eventually get it, but they don't want to overwhelm hospitals. Once testing is quicker and accurate and treatments start popping up (Should be April-May), it'll be easier to isolate people like SK did.

Still, I think it's over for beaches, pools and Water parks this summer. If they do open. we'd really have to be below the curve. I guess that could be around August or so, if we're lucky.

Yea sadly I'm more afraid of this than the virus

But we can't just go about our business and put the public at risk

I feel like there was a better way, but we missed the window.

Not when the local government has still shut down bars, parks, beaches, clubs etc

The reality is about to hit y’all real soon. This shyt not ending anytime soon

I don't think nikkaz truly understand bro..just cause the weather gets better, if nothing is open, what's the point..add in the fact more people will be laid off..you can be around people now at the crib if you wanted to but people aren't..it's whole different reality and warmer weather isn't changing that without things open and shyt to do...

the virus will die down mid may.... people should be back to normal by june..

but the real problem lies in the fact we werent prepared... during the period of janurary to march.. we should have been stocking on stuff to kill the virus....now were dealing with a full outbreak without the supplies...so even when infections is slim to none..the damage might be done.
