How long do you think Spotify's new policy will last ?

How long do you think it will be because of backlash that Spotify will realize it's not up to them to try and be the moral police. That if you're going to ban certain music stars, then you're going to have to ban not just current music stars, but also legends, producers, record executives, label owners etc. who have doneor have been accused of doing horrible things.

i dont think its that impactful...at least for me, i never played one of their playlists. i can make my own playlist

They're only removing the artist from their own playlist. They aren't removing the music from Spotify. It's not a big deal.

You can still listen to R.Kellyand XXXtentacleporn if you want. Spotify is just not promoting them to you anymore which is understandable if you aren't full of fake outrage.

Them removing xxx kinda threw off my original idea/argument.

I wouldn't be surprised if it stuck, especially with Kelly. RapCaviar is their biggest playlist and the genre overall is the most popular on there.

It's ballsy as a business move but I can see them contradicting it this summer when they got brand new rappers to push that directly go against this.
