If it's so SERIOUS why is it that basically every non ESPN associated NFL player (former or recent) and coaches find the topic laughable? We even have former qbs saying this is a common practice. Aaron Rodgers even came out and admitted to liking over inflated footballs and said he "pushes the limits and sometimes goes over the allowed psi" to see whether the refs check them.
Where's the outrage about that?? The only players making a big deal about it all have ties to ESPN. Every single other player that's came out and talked about it other than Terrance Knighton has said this is a joke. This disingenuousness is laughable. The reason Tom won't be suspended a year is because the NFL is aware that this is not a big deal at all.

Suspend somebody when you have no concrete evidence.....![]()
Do you remember watching Montana get accused of bribing staff to deflate footballs?
No...no you do not

If it wasn't a big deal the NFL would either do away with the rule for football sizes or allow teams to choose which weight of the balls they would prefer to use.
Apparently it appears there's a standard set because it gives players an advantage
So we gonna act like there aren't some rules that areny stringently enforced??? That's is the definition of the intellectual dishonesty l talked about in the earlier post. If it's such a major deal why wouldn't the NFL suspend Aaron Rodgers since he openly admitted to overinflating footballs? If it's such a game changing offense why not open an investigation to find all the cases where Qbs over or under inflate footballs since former QBs have come out and stated this is common practice? If it's such a big deal why are Colts players openly saying it's embarrassing to even bring up inflated balls as a reason for there loss? Let's be real. The only reason this is news is because it's the Patriots and ESPN needs a story. If it were any other qb this wouldn't make the headlines. I'm not even saying he shouldn't get penalized, but yall nikkas are saying a 1 year ban??
. A whole year!?
. Yall coli nikkas never cease to amaze. If Tom gets a year, Aaron Rodgers deserves a year too
. If that's the standard yall wanna set be consistent.
