Graduation and MBDTF are not 4/5 to me, but to each his own. Also, the only album Jay has released since AG is BP3, which I put on the same level as the Ye albums I just mentioned.

No, I'm comparing two men who stand side by side. and one is eclipsing the other musically.

As for your other point. From an outsider perspective yea jay is on top, but for anyone who actually follows hiphop knows jay-z really has always been #2. You cannot say with a straight face jay has been dominating rap music since '96. No, not happening.

Kanye's music is high profile, and is actually good. He is the only legitimate challenger to jay's hiphop throne claim.

I bet you if jay drops another album as lackluster as BP3. This will become a serious discussion.
