Sorry, I don't buy the conspiracy they are trying to take our guns! Quite the opposite, guns are widely available and our community and now lone shooters are killing innocent people with them.
Like you said this is a spiritual battle and trying to meet them on the physical terrain guns vs guns is a losing one. We have to be on the high road and not stoop to that level. It sounds counter intuitive but Marvin Gaye was right, "Only love can conquer hate." It will at least save your soul if you believe in that sort of thing.

Guns aren’t going to save anyone I’m just making the point that it’s dumb to make it easier for martial law to be enacted by giving all the weapons away. And breh if you think the media is pushing gun control for your “safety” then I have a bridge to sell you. They don’t care about you or your safety they just want it to be easier for them whenever they decide to declare martial law.
People are killing people in the black community because of a lack of unity, advancement opportunities and culture. Not because of guns. And blacks people have been on that “love your enemy” BS for a long time now and it’s gotten us nowhere. Loving bullies doesn’t cause them to stop bullying so why would it work with your enemy? It’s cool if you want to follow narratives given to you by the media but some of us are waking up to the fact that they don’t want to help us out of our situation.

So you would rather be ready for some martial law conspiracy that was supposed to happen "in the year 2000". Instead of helping to curtail murders in our own community now?! Having guns available makes the reasons you outlined on why we kill each other a lot easier to carry out.
And it's not about stopping a bully from bullying it is just a 100% losing mission to think you are going to get into a gun fight with the government and win. That's a guaranteed lost, our actual only recourse is love/the high road and playing the game of life better. Unfortunately, the odds are stacked that high against us.

You should be addressing the crux of the issue and not secondary things. Black people kill black people because of a lack of opportunities, lack of culture and lack of unity. Taking away guns won’t solve any of these problems and that’s without mentioning that there is some alleging that the govt is giving out these guns in the hood. And we should know that they had a hand in drugs entering the hood during the crack era. So if you ain’t addressing these things first then you just sound like a scaredy cat who cowers at the thought of guns.
And if YOU claim you have an enemy then fighting his hate with love won’t overcome a damn thing. We should be off that MLK BS by now seeing as it hasn’t helped us one bit. Reducing the argument to what you want it to doesn’t mean you’re right
What you’re saying is if one guy has a rocket launcher and another has a pistol that the person with the pistol should just give his pistol up to the other guy because “he won’t win anyways.” He should just make it as easy as possible instead of using what little defense he has left to protect hisself. Bruh what gun was Eric Garner holding when his murder on camera was justified? They don’t need a gun to justify mistreating or abusing you. Certainly not America. In the meantime it's fine for Black communities to gun each other down. It's easy to kill with a gun, it takes real resolve to wrap your hands around someone's throat or stab them so many times their blood flows all over you. Reducing the availability of guns would reduce American murder rates, that's common sense. But no, let's keep them just in case of martial law where tanks are rolling down avenues and our AKs might be able to dent one and we'll show them we're not puzzy.
