My wife got that shyt from Walmart, she got sick as a dog during the documented initial wave, but hasn't gotten sick since then (no vaxx for her. ) When she was semi-isolated, myself and our daughter didn't catch it.

Never knowingly caught covid but very possible I went asymptomatic early on. I went through a period of having eustachian and vertigo like issues, which could have been due to post covid conditions. I’ve been masked up since very early on though and I got vaxed and boosted ever since you could. This was my first year not getting boosted and just caught whatever is going around now. My wife got sick from her fam and in turn passed it to me. Didn’t test positive for covid but it was either cold, flu, rsvp or whatever the current branding is. First time clearly being sick since before the pandemic.

Catching Covid does not automatically mean you die.
You can catch Covid and not have any symptoms, therefor never test, therefore never know you had it. You can have mild symptoms, you can have symptoms you mistake for flu, you can get sick but not need hospitalization, you can get hospitalized and released.
