She needs to work at least part time. If we have kids then I could understand staying home until they go to school

Career minded wife >>> housewife

I’d much rather have someone whose going to get out here and hustle with me in the trenches than some woman at home that I’m going to have to think for and take care of.

Little regular single family homes running a half a million dollars and decent vehicles just south of 100K you better be making a lot of bread if you want to live decent and take care of a wife and kids on a single income and still cover house hold bills.

Most fellas don’t make enough money solo to do that hence why the woman has to help and hold down some bills too.

I want a women who's going to contribute 50/50 on the house hold. That includes rent, expenses, furniture, etc...

I'm an able bodied person. I can clean up and cook for myself. That does nothing for me. I don't know why that's so hard to find.

Then people say "oh, you just want a female roommate you can fukk." Sure, if that's how you want to look at it, I'm not going to try to change your opinion. Are you down or not?

An idle mind is devil's playground. Let your girl be stay at home wife if you want to. She needs something to do.

Any man saying he wants a career minded woman who brings in money might want to think about something.

What's the easiest way for a career woman to get a raise? Promotion? Attention from the people who really run the company she works for?

What do y'all think happens when they go out of town for a business conference at a venue like the orange county convention center? I learned early, find a way to get a pass into the convention afterparties at the right show and married woman with careers will throw it at you. 25 yr old newlywed women throwing down with 50 yr old men in suits like it's nothing.

Be careful what u wish for. My advice is go after the girl and build a relationship based on love and companionship. Take it from there. Think that "business minded" lady is your girl if u want

Housewife is a yesterday bourgeois fantasy; the career woman is a today bourgeois fantasy.

Both are anomaly, even though the career woman is worse.

The bored housewife only existed in the West, for numerous reasons. In poor countries, woman don't go to work, but they work.

The best deal is to have your woman running a small business or working part time. Like that, she can bring some cash to the houselhold and STILL be able to do the most important thing which is to take care of the kids and the house.

But if you got bread and your woman is working a 9-5 or worse those 9 to 9 big lawyers type of job, you are playing yourself. :yeshrug:

My girl is a teacher. We got the right balance of me being the breadwinner/her holding the house down.

Even if I was a millionaire, I would still want her to have a job. Idle hands create unnecessary drama; on many different fronts.

Teacher is good deal. :ehh:I assume it's not a 9 to 5 in terms of working hours.

I recently had my first kid a few months ago and that has made me start thinking I need to get married.

But who knows? - I might snap out of it again.
