400 million. I will retire everyone in my immediate family on top of some extended family that always looked out for me. I got a feeling that it will become a reality, sooner than later.

Recipe for disaster. Giving money to anybody outside of moms/pops is going to end up with them constantly coming back to you for money because you did it before.

Some people don't want to change their lifestyle. If you go up in status, then it takes more money to sustain that lifestyle. You could live a comfortable upper-low-class or lower-middle class lifestyle on 1 million for the rest of your life as long as you have a regular job.

You can easily ball out on 1 million after tax in the bank. Most people are just stupid with money and don't budget. As someone noted that's at least 60k per year in interest. Now if you leverage that with credit you have even more capital to play with. As long as you don't make large cash purchases your set. Leverage your credit and you can ball out and never have to touch the money in the bank. No reason you cant push a lambo and live in a dope condo without touching your 1 million in the bank.

Yes. I would be much better off on one million dollars.
Would it set me for life? No, and I'm not a heavy spender.
I'm not a financial genius so I wouldn't gamble it in stocks. I could try the real estate market and that could feed me with income in the form of rent. :lupe:
Not gonna lie though, a Porsche 911 is going to eat a tenth of that right from the start. :manny:

U missed the point. Dont buy the car cash. Thats how u go broke. People dont understand credit. You dont wanna touch the million the bank. Keeping that will net you 60k plus a year in interest to live on for life. finance the porsche for 5 years. The lower the monthly payment the better in this scenario. you can also purchase a half a million dollar condo in the city. with a million in cash in the bank as a collateral you can do this with little to no downpayment. again strech the payments to reduce the monthly amount. prob end up being a little over 2 grand a month. thats easily manageable on 60k+ income. now you own the crib and sportscar and have money left to play with for life.
