It’s a cac soap opera.

Won’t even find my corpse watching that shyt. Mind you I had most of the seasons on USB when it first came out. They think they slick stealing stories from real historical events for their plot. And most of their stupid viewers don’t even know it.

it gets good at the first season when

when ned stark dies, i was house stark ever since
I felt the opposite. I saw it coming a mile away but that was one of my favorite characters on the show and made me not want to watch after they did him like that. Not to mention they defiled Emilia Clarke like that early on camera fukking that ugly ass nikka man :scust:I couldn’t get over that lol I think I forced myself to about 3 seasons and never looked back

I started reading the books in high school, so I definitely watched the show.

The first four seasons are the best, tho there's changes made that pissed me off.

Mostly to do with the Starks.

The last few seasons, 5-8 are bad and the last two especially are like an entirely different show from where it began.

The show started breaking the rules that the earlier seasons established, and it gets nonsensical.

When they ran out of books, the quality plummeted, but there's no excuse for that since I've read GOT fanfiction that's leagues above what we got, since these people were paid millions and fanfiction writers do it for love.

I will say this though, its absolutely not a show you can understand and enjoy if you watch while playing on your phone.
Try doing both, you're gonna be lost.

Theres only two recurring black(ish) main characters; you think they're going to be a couple but breh is a castrated eunuch; this certainly wasn't written to appeal to black viewers; It's made for white people.

If you can watch n enjoy house of cards, you can definitely find something to like in Got.

I don't understand people proudly being narrow minded, but ehhh.
Different strokes for different folks. The same way some people in here feel about GOT , I feel about American Horror Story , not even gonna give it a chance :yeshrug:

The power struggles, backstabbing, and warfare is what makes the show appealing to me. The fantasy stuff is more like the setting, and the show doesn't completely rely on it. I didn't get into it until Season 5 was airing, when I decided to find out why it was so popular. It's an HBO show, so you know it has some appeal beyond dragons and witches.
Same I think it was on season four when I decided to check it out and stuck around till the end.
