How many of you absolutely HATED college!!???

My college years were great. i grew up alot there in so many ways. My senior year in undergrad and my 2nd and 3rd semesters in grad school in particular was nothing but pure rampant fukkery and the occassional ******dom outside of my classes and school work.

So much opportunity, fun, and money SQUANDERED due to a sh!tty attitude. Smh.

People talk about this as being your fault, but it really isn't. You can have good social skills, be fun/interesting, but if you don't "fit in" to a group, you'll probably be alone. I knew a lot of people like this. They were on good terms with people, and they'd have friends in the classroom, but when the weekend came around they were on their own because they just didn't fit into a particular "clique".

College is basically highschool 2.0 in terms of the social scene. Don't let anyone tell you different.

College is one of the few American experiences that truly is what you make of it.

So much freedom, so little responsibility. Networking opportunities that won't exist in your lifetime.
The closest thing to egalitarianism you'll find in society too.

If you're on some high school 2.0 sh!t it will be high school 2.0.

If you hated college then you lost.

the only thing i hated about college was the amount of work i had to put in for some of the math classes i had to take for my CS major and the hours of programming i used to do a week for my projects..cant forget the MBA project papers I had to do esp my final project (250 pages)..everything else ..it remains a special period of my life

I had the swaggiest clothing in college though...made heads look down at their feet.

Why do people think this? This couldn't be anything further from the truth.

SO because I'm not gushing with joy about everything and anything...I'm a negative, depressing, and infuriating person? I find this highly offensive (even though you said "no offense") honestly cause most people who know me in real life know me as a happy and funny person.

I guess that's here though...where if you don't have a shyt eating grin 99% of the time and don't fall in line with what's popular...you're the outcast.

This pisses me off...people LOVE to ignore the posts and threads where I'm talking about the stuff I DO like to amplify the posts where I'm talking about my criticisms and dislikes to project this image of me that doesn't exist in reality.

My life is fine...but that's absolutely none of your business.

I can't say I hate college so far, since its only my 2nd semester. But it's different. It's a little hard to meet new people, since you're the skinny kid and you're not taken seriously. I talk frequently so I'm not quiet. Also, the kids in my class I can't relate to. They're quiet and don't talk to you even when you're assigned a group assignment with them.

I liked college. I had some friends come with me and some fam come in. I had a solid network. Pledged second semester and met a ton of ppl. The thing is I was within that "group" the rest of college. I wish i would of ventured out more and met different ppl. But then again getting females was easy. Wednesday through friday with random females just getting drunk at your house, and you got your own room and it was for 3 years Ppl diss the frat shyt, but we just know it was jealously.

I am struggling now with coming into a new city and not having that base though
