How many people here wear glasses or contacts?

Been wearing glasses since 7th grade. At first I hated them but have grew to love them now. Recently got a new pair a few months ago and the woman there at the place where I got them from said my vision improved. It may not sound that important but when you have people telling you don't sit so close to the TV or be on the computer for so long saying that you will go blind only to hit them with the when you find out your vision has gotten better is a good feeling.

I'm still near-sighted as fukk though

i'm blind as hell so i wear glasses, the idea of putting my fingers anywhere near my eyes terrifies the hell out of me so contacts are out

my most recent pair i paid for myself since insurance wouldn't cover them, they're warby parker's which are supposed to be the new hipster thing apparently? i don't even know, i just know i look good in 'em, especially when i grow my fro out

I wear both (not at the same time though obviously lol).

I like my glasses. They give me a more defined black intellectual vibe.

I stopped wearing them for a while cause I was sick and tired lowkey of being compared to random swagless dudes with glasses (Urkel, Tay Zonday, Jaquese from the Real World) so I was inspired to ditch them. This is when I was living in Pittsburgh.

Now, it's like whatever. I like wearing my glasses...I have these...

I wanted to do the LASIK but I just went and got me some glasses Monday. I'm just waiting on them to come back from the insurance company so i can get them adjusted on my face. When the tested me my vision was 20/80. With just my right eye I was 20/80 and my left eye was greater than 20/100. But with my glasses my vision will be 20/15. I can't front, I'm excited because it was like everything was in HD when my doctor was figuring my prescribtion. What's messed up is that I haven't had glasses since I was 17 years old.

i wear both...contacts really for when im doing something active or i just dont want anything on my face when im out at a party, club, etc etc..glasses pretty much 80% of the time

I rock contacts but I do wear non prescription glasses to look smarter when dealing with cac client to give off that safe negro vibe.
