Per-36 Embiid gives you 33ppg and 3.6apg, Jokic gives you 27ppg and 8.6apg. TS% identical.
Embiid gets you 6 more points, Jokic gets you 5 more assists. That lends to Jokic, but not by a massive margin IMO. Jokic's passing is inherently dependent on his teammate being able to knock down shots. If they're cold his impact becomes more limited. I also factor in that Jokic has way more floor spacing than Embiid. The Nuggets can surround Jokic with 4 shooters all the time, but Embiid constantly has Simmons clogging the paint and helping doubles come his way. Makes it easier for Jokic to gets points and assists. Embiid's numbers would be even better in that situation.

When Embiid is on the floor without Simmons, his per-36 averages are 40ppg and 4apg on 69%TS :damn:

Overall, purely on offense, I think it's close when you look at stats. Contextualizing it in the game and their teams, my biased ass leans towards Embiid. What he can do without Simmons is GOAT shyt.

I think there's a debate to be had, and I can respect someone going either way. Defense puts Embiid over him though overall no doubt
Jokic can do more offensively than Embiid . Regardless if you switch teams imo Jokic offensive skill set is better.

Thread not about who’s the overall better player. Stay on topic:ufdup:

When you factor in health jokic the better player. But if embid had jokic health not only would embid be the best big men in the league. He would be one of the best big men to ever step on the floor in the history of the NBA.

Just a damn shame embid legs are so bad. We are really getting robbed of arguably the best big man since Duncan.

Detroit You bytch Ass nikka
He's not offensively better than a 20 year old averaging 25ppg shooting 63% from the field :yeshrug:. Not a single GM would pick him over Zion.

Me personally, I'm taking Embid and Zion over him EASILY if they were both given a clean bill of health.
