I never really understood this. I've been paying taxes since I was 16. I don't make nearly as much money as people who are considered rich and a tax cut doesn't move me at all. I get that the tax rate at the top range is several % points higher than what I pay, but part of the reason why I make as much as I do is because I live in this country.
