How many times do you go to the gym per week?

Hey brehs I have been going to the gym 3x a week and want to start going 4-5x a week. I know muscles need rest etc. But any educated coli brehs know if there is any benefit to going another extra day. I don't want to hurt myself in the long run/ and or get bored. The days I don't go to the gym I can run on the treadmill at home.

At the gym I usually do
I usually run 4 miles per 3x per week on treadmill
And 6 of the weight machines, mostly arms, legs, and back.

I am tired after the workout, but my main concern is, I don't want to injure myself.

What is your frequency of going to the gym per week?

It really depends how many times I can. It's tough right now with balancing working part time and also going to school. I prefer to workout 6 days a week. 2 upper body days 2 lower body days and 2 cardio days (1 day I do yoga after cardio and the other day I do ab work after cardio.

But at the absolute minimum I have to workout 3 times a week. (2 full body workouts and 1 cardio day).

Sunday: Upper Body Lifting 1.5 hours
Monday: Lower Body, 1.5
Wednesday: Upper Body Lifting, 1 hour
Thursday Lower Body Lifting, 1 hour
Friday: Upper Body Lifting, 1 hour

Goals are to get leaner and stronger.

PHAT. Google it. It's great.

I'll hit chest/back twice a week (one heavy, one hypertrophy), legs twice, and shoulders once....on average....usually spread over 8/9 days though. I don't worry too much about a strict routine from week to week.

Habit, I guess. But I'm also constantly working towards being stronger/leaner. (Stronger at the moment, bulking).

I mean, I'll spend that long at the gym if I'm playing ball after I lift.....but lifting for that long? fukking why? And how? And why?

i do cardio, machines, and lifting ......i'll ease up after i obtain the fitness level i'm happy with.


i used to work out with a dude that did 7-8 hours every saturday and sunday

5 days a week and I workout at home the other two days. I do cardio and pilates and some very, very light lifting. I really want to start incorporating more weights into my regimen but they intimidate me for some reason :lupe:

6 days after work for 2 hours
Monday chest and bi's with 10 min warm up and 10 hilt after

Tuesday back and shoulders same cardio

Wednesday tri's and legs same cardio

Thursday cardio for about an hour and sauna for 40 mins

Friday upper body same 20 min cardio

Saturday lower body 20 min cardio
