I had a CLS and dude said i see everyone with that car and then he points at a CLA like see.. I started smh like damn they really fukked up making these cheap ass looking versions of luxury.

This is why Porsche maintains its mystique. The cheapest model is the Boxter/Cayman and it ain't cheap in comparison to most brands. It's also the GOAT of value retention.

You won't see some dumbass kid with plasti-dipped wheels in a Porsche. And therefore you respect Porsche more.

When I used to see the early 00's S, SL, CL, CLS class they were a sharp and exciting car to see and now I just throw up when I see a new one

It makes sense Lexus stays at the top, most people don't care about performance They just want Luxury, so you got these middle managers and executives buying them year after year. Me personally I could never spend $80k on a Lexus simply due to the fact that you get no power. An AMG comes with 570hp and 600tq. A tune will net 750hp and 800tq. Same goes for BMW & Audi. Or I can go to Cadillac CT5 V with the reliable LS, Manual transmission, magnetic ride, etc.

And there ain't nothing wrong with buying a used foreign car, Old Mercedes look the best and sound the best. I wish I could buy a 1984 Mercedes Hammer

same thing with the goddamn BMW's. old ass 335's and 535's runnin around with the shytty sounding pop bang tunes. and dudes really think they are poppin. then in 6 months you don't see them anymore because they blew the turbos and engines with those shytty ass tunes.

So you have a problem with dudes buy old cars and flexing? Well that's the car community for you. People who only drive the newest of the new are status chasers. They only want to be seen and have status.

Real car enthusiasts buy old and new. A lot of the times, old cars are better than new. Old AMGs and BMWs are better than the newest ones.

There’s a rich dude I follow on IG that literally did what you said you wouldn’t see (for whatever reason, there’s nothing wrong with plastidip). He has GT3RS and it looks great.

S Class ain't base model, it's always been top of the line. I could never own one though, it's not a driver's car imo.

Now I could own an Audi S8 like a transporter
