In the last 20 years, Charlotte population has grown rapidly; and with growth housing prices will rise. My guess is the people who are complaining, are folks who lived in Charlotte their whole life. Locals tend to complain about anything, and always want things to stay the same. Despite the growth, Charlotte is still a fairly affordable place to live in, especially if you have a decent source of income.

Because we cheap and spoiled. When I was growing up I got my first one bedroom apartment for 450. Gorgeous lil garden home.

Now my two bedroom is $1300
Before I moved here I used to split $900 month rent b:c I’m cheap as fukk!
