around 27K - grad school loan
paid off my undergrad but law school here is 17 gs a year plus books..not too bad compared to american schools
im looking to pay off each year by the end of it, so im only gonna be taking out a 20 g line of a credit
My buddy is well over 100kSucks (understatement).
Yeah, thats really good for law school. I was really considering law school and still am a bit, but average debt out of law school is around 100k. Sounds like too much of a gamble for me. Id have to ace the shyt out of the LSAT to have a shot at something decent..so its worth it for me to take the LSAT but Im not going into law school right after, would rather wait till i have more funds or find a job with tuition reimbursement (same goes for if i went grad school).
I also just got EU citizenship so I may consider schooling over there instead.
yeah the tuition can really differ...i know in the states, top schools charge like 40 a year...here in canada, the best of the best will charge ya like 25 a year
and tuition reimbursement for law is real tricky, i dont even know if a company would do it
Something kinda random: As an Italian citizen, I can get free tuition in Sweden. Not sure if it goes to the grad or law school level yet though. If it does,
.
It's a business. All they care about is making moneywhy do they make education so expensive
I think paying the minimum or paying more is basically a question of comparing the interest rate on your student loans to the rate you can achieve through investment. If your student loans have a 2% APR then it's wise to only pay the minimum and invest your remaining funds to achieve a higher rate elsewhere. But if your loans are 8.5% or higher like mine, then you best pay off them shyts as soon as you can.Im more of the optimistic typelets just agree to disagree

When I graduated (2008) it was like 16k...right now I still owe like 11-12k.
Should've paid it off a long time ago but my cheap ass only pays $100/mo.![]()
