I thought shyt was rough when I bought last year....turned out to be a good decision. I've heard from people plugged into the real estate market and the consensus has been that prices will continue to rise but eventually level off but no one sees a crash coming like the one in 2008

IMO non-citizens should *never* be allowed to purchase real estate unless it's a primary residence. And foreign companies should never be allowed to purchase real estate unless it's the site for a business (no rental/mortgage-based housing whatsoever).

Too many of these fukkers are driving up prices.

I just watched a 60 minutes video and chicago has one of the lowest rent increases in the united states at only 9% while other cities are hitting u at 20-35% increases.
