You got rhianna pregnant? fukk you mean 160k ain't enough? shyt like this kills me

Some people have greater financial goals aside from just paying bills and having money left over.

When you factor in moderately funding retirement, education, and investment accounts along with maintaining 6+ months of savings, paying regular bills, spending money and then vacations, you'll find money doesn't stretch very long. Factor in a newborn and you're looking at a new set of additional expenses.

If you don't have those goals for your money that's fine, but that would be my my definition of being "comfortable" so I'm going to need a higher salary to achieve that.

I hear you. I was thinking about it from a single with no family standpoint.

If you don't mind me asking. Where did you make your money from originally that led you to own multiple properties?
I'm an opportunist. thats all i can say really.

I saved a lot of money by doing anything that didn't need permits myself.
by buying on the low at city auctions.
by using my boys military discount to buy all materials.
by buying stolen shyt such as appliances, and tubs lol.

You got rhianna pregnant? fukk you mean 160k ain't enough? shyt like this kills me

I can only speak for myself, but i pay a ton of money in taxes.

I pay taxes on my income
I pay taxes on property i own
then also factor in insurance.

So 160k really isn't shyt when the government is taking 60k+ of that. I payed more than 100k in taxes and insurance last year. taxes are fukking evil. shyt is all kinds of fukked up.

Don't have financial goals and career aspirations, brehs.

I'm not saying 6 figures isn't good BUT if you have financial goals you'll find it still may not be enough to achieve everything you want :manny: If you're just about making sure bills are paid and saving a little, then you're going to be more than good. And maybe because I live close to DC but I know at least 5 couples and several individuals that are clearing 6 figures in their careers and they aren't doctors or lawyers. I guess that's why I feel getting to that salary isn't some sort of pipe dream. I know at least 6 sohh/coli members that make well over 6 figures and have showed me proof.

I feel you but like I mentioned earlier, the taxes will rape you.

Also if you're making 6 figures, chances are your bills are going to be higher than someone making say $50k. You're going to live in a better neighborhood or drive a more expensive car. Property taxes are higher and all types of other shyt. It may sound good, but it's just not feasible to think someone that makes decent money will live in the hood and drive a beater :heh: Your lifestyle is different.

I just hate this site sometimes because people try to shame you for wanting more or call ducktales about something that's pretty common lol Honestly if you feel that making a 6 figure salary is out of your reach I feel bad for you.

about 80k from my day job If I make a couple more nice moves I should hit 6 figures in the next 4 years. #Inshallah

Side hustle money varies because I haven't really been on it his year after I took an L last year from a client. :mjcry: Did 2.5k worth of work (web design/SEO/consulting/branding without getting paid up front) for acquaintance that was opening Highish end restaurant, off the strength of prior business we'd done together. Never again.

Those taxes do rape me alright. I'm not too far from $100k. I do live in a nice area, and not having a car does help me have more money available. (I refuse to buy something I will rarely use.). I know there are people that raise families on much less than what I make, but I couldn't do it.

As far as shaming you for wanting more, I see that a lot.
