The contrary is actually closer to being true (see: Fermi Paradox), because we have no calculation or concept of the probability -
What you stated is the equivalent rationale of saying if you don't believe in God then "something is wrong with you".

I'm speaking in terms of theistic rationale (the equivalent of - I used this because it's easier to digest the point I was making), where there's the belief that we have a creator, and the evidence being our existence - we are the proof; now, quite obviously, just because we exist doesn't prove/disprove any concept of probability that there is a God, let alone that he made us.I think that's a flawed analogy. We have proof and evidence that life has existed and evolved into a higher state at least once before in the universe (Earth). There's a precedent, so you can propose a rational hypothesis that given the same or similiar conditions elsewhere in the universe, it has or can occur again. And you could (theoretically) test that hypothesis.
None of that can be said for a belief in a traditional God concept.

I look at this topic as two questions.
-- Do aliens exist?
-- Have we been visited by aliens?
I believe yes to the first, but I'm not sure about the second.
I’m very well read in ufology, and I’m way past the point of questioning the alien phenomenon. It exists, I know it, and I’ve moved on to more interesting questions about the alien situation. If you’re not at that point yourself, you’ll probably find this unbelievable, but multiple sources say the “Greys” are biological robots. They are a neutral platform that different species program and send to other planets (for the reason you mentioned about interstellar travel taking to long). Supposedly the Greys have no “soul” like humans or other species. They’re like artificial intelligence. Allegedly, the Draconians use them for abducting humans and carrying out experiments. They’re basically computer technology, but made from organic compounds. They are disposable. Other species are said to use the “grey” platform to explore the universe.Basically this...chances are interstellar travel would take too long for organic life. Seems more likely being visited by alien technology or something like that.
Here's a fun question: How much of what we see as modern tech is alien derived? Smartphones, HD folding TVs, GPS and 3D printers?

Supposedly, President Eisenhower made a treaty with alien races in the 50s, where aliens can abduct a small number of humans in exchange for the aliens giving us new tech. So, if you follow that train of logic, most of the advancements from the 50s onward derive from alien technology.
