This.
The goal is to get nothing back or even pay a little, unless you are hustling the system.
That money these dudes deferred on getting until return season could have been used to cop BTC at 1K.
Thoughts on turbo tax for a nikka that’s claiming a kid for the first time? Then you should get back at least 2k breh. I can hook you and @mannyrs13 up with a guy using my firm's software.
It's all about the software. The better the software, the more you get back. Issue is tax softwares are expensive and some are not even up for sale to the general public.
A guy I know who owns businesses and part owner of 2 clubs pay about 2k back at the end of the year, and with this new tax plan, he will actually get money back![]()

TurboTax gets your money bro. So, you think they sat down and built a software for the masses to fill their taxes for free ? Free ? You get scammed less than going to HR Block, but you still get scammed. They get the money on the back end. That's why you have those User Agreement forms you sign. It's very lucrative business. Turbotax owner doesn't have to lift a finger and money is raining in his account every time somebody files
I used them 1 year and I was getting back 500. So, I went to the guy my boy referred me to for a comparison. He charged 300 to file but I made 2500. Following year, he said he'll give me a break. I didn't know what he meant, but I made 2850 back with the same income and same dependants. It's all about the software breh.
How long does it take for them to catch half truths?I'll probably be paying the IRS again
Gotta stop lyin on my taxes![]()
You get money back because you are working for a corporation without an office. Your expenses (rent/mortgage, house related bills, internet, non-expendable company costs, company car wash service, dry cleaning, street or garage parking, basically anything you pay out of pocket that’s business related) help you out tremendously in your return.
Great question (and I don’t think anything negative at all... Ithe question)
So (in California) you can run a business and operate for three years without making a profit. So you can start a “business consulting company” where you are a freelance consultant. Open an LLC through legal zoom for a couple hundred dollars (which you can write off)
You can then expense a portion of your cell phone bill, internet bill, a percentage of your house rent if you have a dedicated office space, clothes, meals, etc.
When you file your taxes, you file your regular W2 for your job, and you’ll also file as a business owner. You’ll write off all of the things I mentioned (and more if you’re creative) so your overall “income” changes for the year. You made X at your day job, you lost Y, through your business.
