Before the disc version was raised from $500 to $550, they increased the price of the digital version from $400 to $450 and removed the stand. Then they raised the price again to $500 and the raised the disc version to $550. They also reduced the size of SSD from 1tb to 825gb in Europe without reducing the price.
Like I said. The digital version was the only one that was raised twice. The SSD size was never 1tb. I had PS5 disc version at launch. It was never a full 1TB. U got that backwards. When the slim version released it was upgraded to a full 1TB. And like I said before. What does this have to do with anything. Both PS5 and Series X gonna cost the same price and the reasons for both price hikes are the same.

The digital version was raised 3 times, the disc version 2 times, and the ps5 pro 2 times. The stands for the digital and disc ps5 were removed. I never said the 1tb version was available at launch. I said the 1tb version in Europe had the SSD size reduced to 825gb without reducing the price. That could also count as a price raise. The first price raise with the stands removed was before the current economic crisis.

Digital version was changed twice. Not 3 times. And I’m still trying to figure out ur point. U probably don’t have one. This big price hike is due to the economy just like everyone else’s price hikes. Simple as that. Argue with yaself fam.

$400 to $450, then $450 to $500, then $500 to $600. That's 3 times. That's not counting the SSD reduction in Europe with no price drop. The first price bump was before what's going on right now and the stand was removed from the slim digital and disc ps5 yet was included with the original digital and disc ps5. I actually got a ps5 when it released.

This is accurate. The April 2nd will be the 3rd price increase and it's gone up $200 just like the Pro has gone up $200.

This deal is getting worse all the time I pray they don't alter it any further.

It will match its competition and go up $100.

if Nintendo was able to wait out the storm, staying at $450 would really have a compounding effect on its sales. Sony and Microsoft are basically priced out of the market if Nintendo can stay put. Budget and family gamers will notice.
