How much would u pay for a used MacBook Pro?

I'm looking at one...it's used has a few scratches...it's a 2011 model but it has no charger and the wifi signal needs to be fixed...it has logic and protools on it...their askng for 9-1000...is that a good deal?

Macs are just overpriced brand gimmicks made for noobs who know nothing about computers. Rather by a gaming laptop like the Asus that is not only more POWERFUL than most Macbooks, but also CHEAPER and cans still video edit just as good as a Mac but can also play games. Buying a used Macbook? Hell no. I call that consumer retardation. Save your $1,000 and buy an Asus G75. They're ripping you off.

That's too expensive for sure. When you find something better, compare prices with similar models (on craigslist etc.), check apple forums (macrumors etc.) and go on apple.com refurbished area and you can get a general idea of where pricing should be for a specific model/year.

This. One of my friends just bought a new Macbook a few months ago. Dude spent like 2600 or something ridiculous on it. I had just bought a Lenovo Y500 for literally 1/3 of the price and can do everything he can do.

Think about that. 5 years from now, when I replace this laptop, I'll spend another 850 on another Lenovo. Then 5 years after that, I'll do it again. So it's gonna take me 10 years and 3 computers to spend as much as he spent on one Macbook Pro.

Exactly! You my friend are a smart consumer. Seriously if you want a laptop that can do what a Macbook can do BUT BETTER and CHEAPER get the Asus G series. Wont regret it. Heck if I wanted to pay that much money for a Laptop, I would get an Alienware, when compared to a Macbook is 10x more better when it comes to what its packing.

OP, you can get a 2011 used Macbook Pro for like $400-$600. Idk where you live but try Craigslist. I know I can find some good condition Pros in that price range.
