How much would u pay for a used MacBook Pro?

This. One of my friends just bought a new Macbook a few months ago. Dude spent like 2600 or something ridiculous on it. I had just bought a Lenovo Y500 for literally 1/3 of the price and can do everything he can do.

Think about that. 5 years from now, when I replace this laptop, I'll spend another 850 on another Lenovo. Then 5 years after that, I'll do it again. So it's gonna take me 10 years and 3 computers to spend as much as he spent on one Macbook Pro.

In 5 years you will have to buy a new PC because yours will be running as fast as a turtle uphill
Your friend will be able to sell that macbook for atleast $1000 if hes keeps it in good condition in 5 years

So? One of my friends has a Aienware M14x Laptop and its been past five years and its still running smoothly and can still some games on high setting. Its more how much you take care of it.

And only a moron would spend $1,000 for a used laptop...

Alienwares are absolute sh*t since dell purchased them. My company gave me one and that was by far the worst PC I have ever used.

My friends one wasn't. But yeah Alienwares are not good computers at least there Laptops kinda aren't. But there desktops are terrible.

I'm looking at one...it's used has a few scratches...it's a 2011 model but it has no charger and the wifi signal needs to be fixed...it has logic and protools on it...their askng for 9-1000...is that a good deal?

2011? Thats eons in computer years. Its not worth it. That should be no more than 600.

Get a refurbished one if you MUST. Its a few hundred cheaper.

Round it up to $1000 and buy yourself a new 11-13 inch MacBook Pro or Air.

Goto Apple's website and look through the refurbish department. I know plenty of people who are still going strong with 2011 MacBook's...hell even with 2008-2010 models. Their such reliable machines with great resale value.
