And here we goMacs are just overpriced brand gimmicks made for noobs who know nothing about computers. Rather by a gaming laptop like the Asus that is not only more POWERFUL than most Macbooks, but also CHEAPER and cans still video edit just as good as a Mac but can also play games. Buying a used Macbook? Hell no. I call that consumer retardation. Save your $1,000 and buy an Asus G75. They're ripping you off.
Really? Cause I had a 2005 HP DV9000t that was still going strong until 2012 when my brother lost it. If you don't know how to take care of your stuff, then of course it won't last long.
Or... are you one of those people who doesn't know that the components in a Macbook are the same components that go into every other laptop. Tell me you're one of those; I love those guys.![]()
dudes bashing apple always wanna drop numbers and quote factory part stats but never wanna talk about how better integrated macs are and end up spanking windows PCs across the board. And here we go
Funny thing is...your wrong. For instance, Apple only buys the higher tier processor chips. Their storage is made by OWC ( top notch)

Way better for picture and video editing than windows. So glad to not be dealing with that piece of shyt Dell I had. In the few years I had it, I had to change out the hard drive 3 times.
I prefer apple because their products are higher quality from finish to software. The gap is closing and I like everything they do from battery life to construction. its hard to beat their value.
You pay a little more, but for the average person, what you get out of having a complete system you don't have to play around with so much is a far better value in my eyes.
Ya'll stay talking down on macs but don't appreciate the user experience.

Damn, that's crazy. I guess you're right since there's no wintel laptop that has a higher-tier processor (Funny thing is...youre wrong. For instance, Apple only buys the higher tier processor chips. Their storage is made by OWC ( top notch)
) or a high-quality hard drive (
).
They LITERALLY have people thinking there's things inside a Macbook that they can't get anywhere else.Actually it depends on what PC you get...Since they vary. Macs are PC's and have the same specs. Its that Apple products are a closed system and use an IOS. Nothing completely different beside the facts that Macs are more user friendly and are for people who are not expierenced with computers. Again me as a tech head doesn't see the value in Macs. As for as qaulity goes. I can built my own PC that is has more quality and up to dates specs than an average mac computer and yet it would be cheaper. My computer that IO built only costed around $900. Has a core I7 and Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 4GB and water cooling. While someone I know has an iMac that costed $1,000 or above and it only has an core I5 and more inferior specs. Again as a tech head I dont see the value of Macs other than showing off to people...

The CPU I'm inquiring about I actually have and I'm trying to sell it...trying to see what a good price would beNo you should be more than fine with an i5
I suggest this
Refurbished 13.3-inch MacBook Pro 2.5GHz Dual-core Intel Core i5 with Retina Display - Apple Store (U.S.)
And a backup HD :![]()
Didnt you hear me say as a TECH HEAD thats what I enjoy about PC's? Along with that, thats why I said Macs are for people who are NOT experienced with computer. You said Macs have more waulity than PC's. Thats false because it depends on what PC you get, since well PC is an OPEN SYSTEM. Also customization/freedom is one of the many things I like about PC's. Something you can rarely do with a Mac. \And you're living in your own little bubble of customization.
NO ONE has time for that shyt. Thats the point here.
Only an opinion. Can the average out of box Mac beat an high end gaming desktop/laptop? No just no. Again IT DEPENDS on the PC/Hardware company. Yes the average Mac is better than an average low end PC(because the average Mac has usually specs), but again thye average Mac cant compete with an high end gaming laptop with great built qaulity like an Falcon Northwest. No way...OUT OF BOX macs are better.
You're just here sprouting numbers that 99% of people DO NOT care about. Thats cool that you're happy with your custom machine...but so what?
